I am trying to finish up a lot of knitting projects so I can move on to new ones. This set is finally finished. I call it the Snowflake Set. It is knit of a fine recycled 40% Angora / 60% Wool purchased from an eBay vendor. It consists of a cowl, a pair of fingerless mitts, and a headband/earwarmers:
These are the mitts:
And this is the headband. I knit a very fine elastic into the edges to help it stay snug:
These pictures don't show the beauty of this fiber. It is very soft and lustrous:
I'm trying to decide if I want to write it up for a Knit Your Tail Off pattern.
I'm looking forward to wearing them with my new periwinkle blue jacket.
Thanks for reading.
