The Crazy Old Lady Cracked Amazon's Top 100 - In 3 Categories!

UPDATE! That Crazy Old Lady is now in THREE Amazon Top 100s:
Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #2,834 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store)

I've posted in the past when my knitting books and cookbook have broken into Amazon Top 100 categories and, though it is a thrill, those categories are limited. But today The Crazy Old Lady In The Attic cracked Amazon's Top 100 in Psychological Thrillers. That's the first time any of my fiction had climbed that high and I'm just ecstatic -- I finally feel like a real writer.

Of course those categories move fast and it doesn't take long to slip back out of the category but I grabbed a screenshot when it was at its highest point today, #85. Could I be any happier?

I've been doing some work on book covers and decided to post some here. The first one is a cover I did for fantasy writer Remi Michaud's Rites of Ascension Series. This is for Book Two: Blood of War:

I love the concept he came up with and I loved doing the design. I did his cover for the first book, too, The Path of the Sword:

And these are two covers for my two works-in-progress. I've written about my novel, Depraved Heart before. This is the current cover but it may change. I'm open to comments.

This one is for a second psychological thriller I'm working on which I want to have out by Halloween. It is called Ghosts of a Beach Town in Winter.

So that's what I've been doing -- and writing. And spending a lot of time with my new Kindle. More about that later.

Thanks for reading.

  2. Way to go on the 85. I'm excited when I break 50K, so I can only imagine what being in the top 100 feels like.

Here's hoping you climb even higher (or is it lower?).

  5. All right for you Kathleen! I know what you mean about the difference in the fiction vs hobbies category. You are now making waves in the BIG pond!

  6. Thanks, Carla. It's kind of exciting because "Horror" and "Psychological Thriller" are MUCH bigger categories than Knitting Lace and German Cooking!!!
