For/From Indie Authors: Michelle Muto

Michelle writes young adult urban fantasy and young adult horror. She lives in NE Georgia with her husband and two dogs. She loves scary books, funny movies, sports cars, chocolate, and changes of season.

  • Don't ever give up. If you truly believe in your work and yourself, don't give up. Henry Ford once said, "If you think you can, or you think you can't - you're right."
  • Find valued critique partners and beta readers. They are invaluable.
  • Always look for your weakness and work on improving it. Having problems with dialog? Study how other people do it. Practice. Then pick another area of your writing that is the weakest and work on it.
