The Anadama Bread Book Web Site is Live!

Last week I posted about Melissa Smith Abbott's new book chronicling the history of her family's businesses, along with their recipes. The book is being printed now and should be available by mid July. In the meantime the web site has been finished and I uploaded it yesterday. It features a little home page Flash movie about the book:


It also includes the Introduction from the book:


And a page at which you can pre-ordered an autographed copy to be shipped to you as soon as the book is available:


You can order with any credit card which will be processed through PayPal. You don't need a PayPal account to use this feature.


And, to give you a taste of what's inside there is a little mini-book which you can page through on the site. The book is 8.5" x 11" and had 118 pages including a recipe index in the back. The recipes are amazing. I have not yet made the Anadama Bread recipe but intend to when it cools down a bit around here.





I loved working on this project, Melissa Abbott is a wonderful person to work with and I think she has created a remarkable book that is both fun to read, delicious to cook from and a real little jewel of Cape Ann history. I hope you'll give it a look.
